Stone Massage
A gentle body massage using warm stones to stimulate circulation through the body, facilitate ease of movement and improve health.
Reiki
An ancient energy technique to balance the nervous system and aid in overall health. Reiki works on these four levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and any animal can benefit from this healing.
Raindrop Therapy
Essential oils are applied to the paws and spine. This is a way of removing toxins and reducing inflammation throughout the body. The oils will last in the body for about a week working to support the body’s functions. Kirsten & Andrea holding Blake & Barley. On our full-time spa and grooming staff we have Kirsten Krause. For Kirsten, it all started with passion. Her path is all about the well-being of animals and people. In 1998 she graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming as a Professional Stylist. During this time, she completed a course in First Aid for pets. Her focus in helping animals feel their best continued in therapy work. In 2008 she became certified as a Reiki Master. Reiki works on the spiritual, mental and physical as well as the energy systems of the body. Later that year, she became certified in warm stone massage for animals. Stone therapy is extremely effective in creating harmony and a positive energy flow in our pets’ bodies. From the Center of Aromatherapy Research and Education she received her certificate for Raindrop Therapy. The Raindrop technique is the use of therapeutic oils that are worked along the spine to assist in proper function of the nervous system. Her long-term goal is to continue to educate herself so she can always have the knowledge to better a pet’s life.
We also have Andrea Hanson. She graduated from Mukwonago High School and also has an Associate’s Degree in Marketing from Waukesha County Technical College. Since childhood, she has always loved animals, coming home with bugs in her pockets that she wished to keep as pets. Today she has a dog of her own—Duke, a beagle. Prior to coming to End of the Leash, Andrea worked at Skydance Pet Lodge for a little over a year. She absolutely loved working with all the dogs, wishing she could take every one home with her. She is now working alongside Kirsten. Her goal is to treat your dogs as if they were her own, giving them the loving, tender care they deserve. And don’t be surprised if she asks you if she can take your pet home with her!
